Therefore, multiple laser hair removal treatments will be needed for initial hair removal, and maintenance treatment might also be needed. Laser hair removal is most effective for light-skinned people with dark hair, but it can be successfully used on all skin types.
Laser hair removal has few side effects and little downtime. However, after the treatment, there may be skin irritation with temporary discomfort, redness, and swelling. Most signs and symptoms disappear within a few hours.

Rarely does laser hair removal cause blistering, scarring, or other changes in skin texture, but it is a possibility. It is not recommended to have laser hair removal on eyelids, eyebrows, or surrounding areas due to the possibility of eye injuries.
